I don't know how many of you have been to welcome home ceremonies. I had my first one when my son came home a week ago. It was indoors. It was awesome. I hope everyone has a chance to attend one. I didn't know people could make that much noise!

Please thank your son, from all of us. I know he's gonna say something like "shucks, 'tweren't nothin'" - but it really is something and there are a whole lot of us who truly appreciate what these kids have done for the past three years.
