..........No, I'm responding to your belief that the answer to Iraq's problems is an iron thumb.

According to their history, it's the only way to win. I outlined that already in the URL that you're feeling indignant to read! LOL Nope, not trying to force ya!

..........I don't really need to read your URL to know the history of the players in the middle east

This doesn't mean you didn't read it! You may not WANT to admit it but..... Psychology says:....never mind! LOL

or to understand that we can't afford to lose, or that we can't leave yet without losing. My novel solution is for us to take Syria out of the picture and bring about regime change in Iran by any means in either place.

To be efficient, you take Iran out first, Air power for a few days of military bases and nuke sites bombing. Syria will fold, no doubt about it!

We couldn't bring regime change in Iraq for a decade. We had to invade. We CAN'T invade the-much-larger Iran and we don't want to. Crippling the Iranian mullahs will most likely change the regime or at least take them out of the Iraq game, capeesh? (Phonetic!)

I haven't seen you around here much, melancholy. Maybe it's just that I have overlooked your posts.

It's difficult to keep up with FR posts when one is really busy. I didn't post that much. I'm sure my posts weren't that interesting or important. However, the record is there but don't stumble on that URL! Sounds like Niagara Falls in the famous Abbot & Costello skit! Do not say "URL"!!! LOL

Nice talking to you Michael, all in good humor though!

Have an extended wonderful evening, sir.

Good evening.

I'm not feeling indignant, FRiend.

I got an email tonight from an old comrade I hadn't heard from in 38 years and I'm feeling good knowing that he and the others he brought me up to date on are doing well.

I disagree that we absolutely must attack Iran to defeat it. The Mullahs are their own worst enemy and I believe we can bring them down from within if given time. I believe that Syria is the most pressing enemy right now, but the easiest to topple. If Syria is out of the loop, we will be able to deal with a weakened, isolated Iran.

The DemocRATs are OUR worst enemy and they may not give us time to win. If we don't win then we will have a full on world war between Islam and the rest of the world.

Clearly I need to get that certificate of occupancy for my new house, get a garden ready for spring and do some reloading.

Later,

Michael Frazier
