Chaffe not only voted agaisnt Alito, he voted against President Bush too.
Guiliani voted FOR President Bush, and has made it clear he'll appoint Supreme Court Justices in the mould of Alito and Roberts.
Not to mention Chaffe is strongly against the WOT, the Patriot Act and the War in Iraq.
Guiliani strongly backs them all.
The two of them are not even close to being on the same planet when it comes to views.

I am for Rudy because he understand the enemy, islam, and IMO will be effective in prosecuting this war.

And if we don't win this war, conservative issues and nothing else actually matters.

This is a conservative site but it is also a forum wherein conservatives understand this war.

But of course it is typical of Rudy-haters to attack opponents with the "you aren't a conservative" charge...so I don't hold it against you.
