The thing we need to remember is that living in "red" states it is still possible to do something that is nearly *impossible* in most blue states: to have genuinely conservative Republicans win statewide elections.
We owe it to our oppressed conservative brethren in places like Maryland and Oregon to nominate and elect genuine conservatives -- especially to the US Senate, but also to governorships, Congress...
Sorry for the delay. I agree with you too. Additionally, we need to nominate conservatives who can lean to the middle instead of moderates who claim they can lean to the right. Our CO conservatives tend to win a whole lot more than our so-called moderates, who some people think will have broader appeal.
