I understand your feelings. I think it's the responsability of everyone to vote, conservative or liberal.

I also think it's the responsability of our elected officials to defend our borders and our laws when in office. If they do not. Well, there's not much for the voter to get excited about.

See, I think when election day did come, the likely conservative voters did vote. The problem is that this likely voter would normally be excited enough to be encouraging the unlikely voter to go and vote. This likely conservative voter you talk about probably did vote, but probably wasn't excited enough to go and work to get out the vote as did happen in 2002 and 2004. I think that's where we lost.

We're incrementing our way towards full-blown, cultureless socialism, under Democrat and GOP alike. Please tell me, was there ever a time in history when a civilization was able to increment itself back to its original principles? Never that I'm aware.

No, it is inevitable that old institutions crumble before they can be rebuilt after they reach a certain point. The noble United States of old is gone...it is dead and buried. Voting in a bunch of RINOs isn't going to change that. There is no pulling back from the brink.

So yes, you're welcome.
