I live in Annapolis. The problem is that the Mayor Ellen Moyer is more stupid, incompetent and totally "Kumbayah" than her ex-husband who was once mayor of Annapolis also and a total incompetent ass**le.

The problem is in neighborhoods in Annapolis where poor blacks and Hispanics are competing and the blacks are losing out.

Time to stop ignoring the problem and get in some law and order.

Well, Mayor O'Malley did promise to do to the rest of Maryland what he did to Baltimore.

Maybe this is a jump start.

Sorry for the cynicism but this general lack of civility in the state has me piss*d and the public keeps voting for more of the same. Baltimore City, PG & MONTY CO not only control this state, they infect it.

We have a feel-good Mayor with only cosmetic solutions toward the irresponsible shiftless 2-3 generation of welfare Mommas turning out fatherless punks who are overrunning the public housing and squabbling over whose "turf" is whose. Annapolis just opened a $7 million dollar "Boys and Girls" club for these punks who prefer to be gunning for blood at the mall instead of taking cinematography and dance lessons or studying in the computer lab.

Ellen's normal "solution" is to call for "meetings" and suggestions, which usually end up leading to the City hiring ever more $100,000 per year "civil rights community liaisons" - like the one the School Board hired last year who was supposed to address these gang rumbles in the High School - which have now spilled into the food court at a family mall at 7:15 on Saturday night.

Now we will probably have police patrolling the mall - but God forbid they should profile the "yoots".

BTW- the Hispanics are even more victimized than the rest of us- these "yoots" consider Hispanic men walking the streets to be portable ATM machines.
