"The article at Fox's website doesn't even indicate whether or not the suspects were even caught."
I wasn't criticizing you. As you know, even if they had them in leg irons at this moment the media would not spell out the obvious.
Let's see they did say it was "gang-related." Must be those roving bands of nuclear family-ensconced Catholic school boys.
Given that there is no indication whether the suspects are still at large, why does the race of the participants matter in an breaking news story? Should they put the race of the people involved in every news story?
Dear EyeGuy,
I didn't take it as a criticism of me, but of Fox. I was just pointing out that the Fox article was missing a lot of information that seemed to suggest that they didn't have a whole lot of facts when writing the article.
In fact, their information is pretty outdated, if the wjz.com report is to be believed, which says four folks were shot. It would seem that that the wjz.com report might have reported the ethnicity of the suspect[s], as they note that at least one suspect was wounded and sent to the hospital. Thus, by asking eyewitnesses, it would be relatively easy to ascertain that fact.
We'll have to see what comes out.
I go to Annapolis Mall frequently. When it starts getting late, the crowd changes from mostly regular folks, families, etc., to more of a mix, with plenty of regular folks still, but also folks who dress like thugs, goths, "playas," and what-have-you. There are as many or more white thug-dressers as not. Plenty of the other "alternative lifestyle" folks that come out after dark are also white.
