Breaking News ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Three people were shot in the food court of a shopping mall Saturday evening, and one was critically wounded, fire officials said.

With Hopkins and the University Centers, the high percentage of all types of treatment centers doesn't surprise me.

We have a feel-good Mayor with only cosmetic solutions toward the irresponsible shiftless 2-3 generation of welfare Mommas turning out fatherless punks who are overrunning the public housing and squabbling over whose "turf" is whose. Annapolis just opened a $7 million dollar "Boys and Girls" club for these punks who prefer to be gunning for blood at the mall instead of taking cinematography and dance lessons or studying in the computer lab.

Ellen's normal "solution" is to call for "meetings" and suggestions, which usually end up leading to the City hiring ever more $100,000 per year "civil rights community liaisons" - like the one the School Board hired last year who was supposed to address these gang rumbles in the High School - which have now spilled into the food court at a family mall at 7:15 on Saturday night.

Now we will probably have police patrolling the mall - but God forbid they should profile the "yoots".

BTW- the Hispanics are even more victimized than the rest of us- these "yoots" consider Hispanic men walking the streets to be portable ATM machines.

One of the people involved in the altercation pulled out a handgun and shot the agent, who then drew his service weapon, shouted that he was a police officer and fired back at the suspect, police said.

The suspect was shot twice in the upper body and apprehended by responding police officers after the melee that sent shoppers ducking under tables and running for cover.
