Let's give the Republican leaders six months or so and then judge them on their performance. Who knows, maybe an effective leader will emerge. I do have some hope for Mitch McConnell in the Senate, and maybe McCain will stop playing footsie with the Rats and toughen up because he's running for president now.

Don't put your trust in McCain. IMO, he is the one person who is most responsible for what happened on Nov. 7. CFR is what gave rise to the 527s and so much power to evil manipulators like George Soros and the "gang of 14" in the Senate really infuriated those conservatives for whom judicial appointments are one of their most important issues (like me). He has no chance of becoming POTUS.
