the funny thing is, this type of folderal has been coming out of their mouths for the past 6 years, and they keep getting a pass from the dinosaur media. If the people of CT believed that terrorists deserved Constitutional rights, then Lieberman wouldn't have won.

BINGO. Let them fight this war on their terms: the "Blue Dogs" vs. the REAL dems. Ultimately, the MSM has to choose a side. It's up to us to fight for the next hill while they jerk around.
Hell, even your most jaded LA Times editorial board might catch a clue.
Frankly, had this past election been "about the war", we'd have done better, I'm convinced.
You're spot on about Lieberman: even friggin Connecticut, electing a nominal Independent, knows what's at stake.
[Great thread, Gramps. Thanks for letting me vent.]

Ah but remember that House Border Security Fence, that Hillry declared after the House passed, that the House Republicans would make Jesus illegal if they could?
Well the night before we were Foleized Hillry voted for that House Bill and Lieberman voted against it. Unfortunately the Republicans fawning all over Lieberman ignored that aspect of his lack of willingness to secure our borders in this war against terrorists.
These liberals are in a tag team one to another in opposition to our national security and the majority of Americans believe the Left has gotten religion.
