(conclusion of article) Although Slate's copy of the memo ends here, a later draft posted independently by the Huffington Post has Moody going on to suggest that the Hamas statement mentioned on the previous page was a response to the Democratic victory: "We'll continue to work the Hamas threat to the U.S. that came hours after the election results. ... Just because the Dems won, the war on terror isn't over." Later that day on Live News, anchor Martha MacCallum aired a report in which she asked guest Christian Broadcasting Network terrorism expert Erick Stakelbeck about "reports of cheering in the streets on the behalf of the supporters of the insurgency in Iraq, that they're very pleased with the way things are going here and also with the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld."

I dunno... I don't see it. But my leftie friends are all emailing this to me.
Every other single media outlet is biased to the left, and they think this is damaging to Fox News? LOL!
Olberwomann has been hyperventilating over this. I am one of jon carry's do do birds. I jest dunt git it.
And, of course, only those on the left would be somehow amazed that the top editor of a newsroom gets to actually, you know, do his job of directing news coverage.
Shep must not get these memos
Doesn't most of it come from AP?
It is also "fair and balanced" for Moody to instruct the news staff to ask the following question of every guest who appears to discuss the pending immigration bill: "Does the U.S. have the right to defend its borders or not? ... Lets see if anyone says no."
I'd love the Slate writer to explain what's so horrible about this question, particularly since Slate and every other media outlet discuss this issue as "The Immigration Debate" instead of "The ILLEGAL Immigration Debate".
And please, what is so "fair and balanced" about the "all bad news, all the time" reporting from Iraq, with almost no recognition of the successes, and the relatively low casualty rate.
What relationship does light have with darkness?
See my profile page for PROOF of bias at ABC News and the Houston Chronicle.
These phony outrages are getting old.
I agree whole heartedly.
Have you ever checked out Donna's site?
There's some great pictures on there and she has got a great sense of humor.

Scarborough tried to play it up last
night as "Proof" of FNC "bias" be he,
and the DemoPerv he tried to tag team
with, against a lone Repub, came off
really weak and obviouslt srtretching
in their attack on FOX. They ended up
showing more of *their* blatent bias
and slander attempts instead.
The Left isn't happy with ABC,CBS,NBC,PBS, and CNN? They have to control Fox News, too? How about facing the fact that the Left is a bunch of totalitarians?
huh, to each his own. if fox is left what are the rest???
I don't watch any news outlet except Fox News.
They want to paint FOX as biased so they can bring back the "fairness doctrine."
same here....even the local news is plagued with their handlers bias.
