I think the re-election of Trent Lott to the leadership indicates the elected republicans have learned nothing.
I'll second that...about Pence. Boehner may be a good guy, but this smacks of being tone-deaf. We need new leadership, so what do we do? Elect the same leadership.

John Shadegg would be much better as Minority leader.
Bohner is the same leadership which resulted in loosing the House and the Senate. I will never understand why the republicans chose leadership which has proven it failed.
