He's ALWAYS been the most gracious of presidents.

Actually, I think that would be Jimmuh Carter. Part of the reason he was such a lousy president. Some people might nominate Reagan but the Gipper had plenty of fire on something he really cared about.

There is ONE man, the President, who stands guard over our Constitution and the separation of powers.

Um, no, that would be the courts, the Court, and the Senate. Well, they're supposed to anyway. You should recall Bush signed CFR despite claiming it was unconstitutional.

There is ONE man, the President, who is responsible for our security.

Actually, that would be the two houses of Congress. The president is the executive who uses the security resources provided by Congress and conducts foreign policy. But without the weapons, the forces and the funding, the president can really do nothing.

The president can't be given credit or take blame for things he isn't responsble for or has no authority over.

Please ... if you can put George Bush in the same category with Carter .. I see little room for dialogue.

I wasn't being literal .... but figurative in my scope. We have ONE president, ONE leader, one main voice of the United States .. the President of the United States.

What I see is congress' attempt to supercede and infringe on the powers and authority of the president in time of vicious war and a determined mission to destroy US, which I pray is NOT allowed to happen.
