You know, I so sick of hearing "what went wrong". President Bush or Karl Rove could not have even anticipated the so-called "young smart conservatives" that can barely remember the Clintoon years, let alone a time when the RATS really ruled. These young smarties decided to "teach the Republicans a lesson" by either not voting or voting AGAINST Republicans. Real Smart!!! You all know who you are.
All they got was a chance to say I TOLD YOU SO......and we get to live with the results of their selfish tantrums.
This election I voted R on my ballot for the one substantial race because the candiate was a fire breathing conservative (He still lost).
But, if he had been a CINO I would not have voted for him. All I heard this election from GOPbots was the fearmongering "If you don't vote R then it's gonna be pelosi, Murtha,etc, Hillary in '08". Sorry, that doesn't cut it. Run a solid platform with solid, identifiable goals that are evident, not hidden and you'll get my vote. To tell me if I don't then we're going to hell is your problem, not mine. I lived through 8 years of Clinton just fine and I'll see to it that I live through the next years just as well.
From now on I'll vote for only for conservative candidates, and refuse to support any GOP conservative pretenders.
I voted for Sen George Allen Jr. (R-VA) and Rep Frank Wolf (R-VA10).
