Your Vote Does Matter

If you think your vote isn't important, consider what happened in the 97th district in Indiana: Jon Elrod defeated Edmund Mahern by 5 votes.

True, we took a beating a few weeks ago, but our votes do matter...don't give up.

Biggest secret...
How many of the 10 to 30 million legal and illegal aliens VOTED?.. this cycle..
You know... that changed the demographics in many elections..
Where the winners won with very few VOTES...

Oh! yeah it is a secret... I'm considering 2008 about now...

I'm beginning to believe that it doesn't...

To make a long story short, the Dems are making noises about refusing to accept a Republican victory in a close race in Sarasota, FL (about a 375 vote difference). Since the House can refuse to seat a member, 218 votes in the House can override the votes of an entire Congressional District. Of course, we can count on the **fairness and non-partisanship** of the Dems in Congress (retching out my lungs alert).

On a radio program in the DFW market recently a guy called in to discuss the immigration issue. He stated that his parents came to the U.S. when he was a little boy (he is now in his early 20s) and the entire family is illegal. He presented several issues that affect him and his family being illegal. He then went on to say (and I quote because it was so shocking that it is one of those things that just sticks in your brain), "I am embarrassed to admit this but I registered to vote when I was 18 and have voted in every election since I registered. And, there are lots of us [illegals] that are active voters."

YES, illegals are registered and do vote. I worked the polls during the most recent election and have high suspicions about several of the voters who presented themselves to vote. A couple had translators [their kids] with them but were in the voters' roll book so they voted.

I doubt very much the Democrats are going to take that route.

If it meant control of the House, yes, but now they won't get bogged down in an election issue.

You are very right.

John Adams pointed out that all the great decisions regarding this nation, Independence, the Constitution etc often came down to one State and one vote in that State.

The individual can make a difference.

My vote counts?

Of course it does! That's why my staying home this time sent a couple dozen republicans home.

And if they don't get their act together, and if they don't nominate the right sort of candidate, 2008 is gonna be 2006 Times 3.

YOU ARE SOOOOOOO RIGHT!!

Many of his supporters in Pennsylvania, worked like mad to get out the vote for Senator Santorum for just this reason. Sadly, there was no countering the lies out of Casey's mouth and the money of George Soros to promote those lies!

Thank for the great example!
