Actually, I think it's been the MSM who has gone after Murtha. They're the ones who didn't want him to show Americans what real Dems are like. Might hurt their 2008 chances.

Just to name the ones I can think of at the moment.
The sad part is , the public tends to overlook/accept dims corruption while condemning repubs for much more minor offenses.
The MSM is the conscience of America today.
Their opinion/criticism determines whether the public gets offended over a 'crime'.
