Boehner accepts no pork. That's one thing I like about him.
He was majority leader - he needed to also tell the various GOP Congresscritters that pork was off the menu.
Boehner promised tons of ethics and earmarks reform after taking over for Delay and then didn't do anything once people stopped paying attention. Although the ball's really in Nancy's court now, so it's not going to make a difference. He can fight for all the reform he wants as it will only hurt the 'Rats.
He didn't have much of a chance yet after taking over after the Delay fallout.
I think he will be very good.
