Here's a salute to three decent and principled public servants who abided by the Constitution and did their best to advance freedom and constitutional government in some small way. The defeats of Richard Pombo, John Hostettler and Rick Santorum is the nation's loss. They deserve our appreciation and deepest respect for their service.

Thanks for posting this. I hope Rick Santorum will run again. I think he will be sorely missed.

I suggest when the Democrats are discredited, Santorum should run for Governor of Pennsylvania.

Santorum's problem was that he acted like he was the Senator from a Red state instead of a Blue state.

The defeat of Pombo was certainly a set back for individual freedom and property rights. Fascism advances another step in California.
Having just returned from California, I was stunned on how brainwashed many Californians are. The eco-fascist propaganda has nearly blocked all reasoned discussion in that state. Even very intelligent people were stone-cold stupid when discussing simple concepts such as individual rights in their property. They were clueless. Emotion had completely clouded their ability to reason.
