Will hopefully post excerpts 4 & 5 together on FR once they're available.
Once I do, I'll be sure to post a link to them on this thread.
Note: url's for additional excerpts are liked via the National Post copyright at the end of each.

Well we have fought a politically correct war and the results are mixed. Ditch the religion of PC and the Islamists will surrender like the French.

"Are you the Steyn ping-list person?"
Sorry, no.
Heck, I'm not even a member in particularly good standing of his somewhat cult-like following.
I find Steyn OK but, figured many FRiends would especially enjoy these excerpts.

Ditch the religion of PC and the Islamists will surrender like the French.US Soldiers today feel similarly to Viet Nam infantry, and this war has dragged on for years unnecessarily. For the last two years, the enemy shoots from Mosques and uses them for weapons cache. Every US soldiers knows this and can't do anything about it because of the PC rules.
From the beginning they should have had an Iraqi leader public announce terrorists shooting from mosques are open game. When Zarqawi came onto the scene two years prior to his death, they had him pinned down with hundreds of his leaders in a mosque, and the US sat their sucking their PC war thumbs. First time that happened they should have dropped an MOAB. It would have changed the war, and broken their will. Just two months ago they had 100 al-Qaida leaders today at a funeral, and they did nothing.

Scariest book in decades! If you haven't read the whole thing, buy a book and do so now! Steyn is a genious and funny too. The second scariest book I've just read is "The Road" by Conrac McCarthy. Both books could come true and soon.
