He's a total hand puppet for his masters and coupled with his lack of any smarts whatsoever is ends up in a crack more often than not.

Ends up in a crack? He ought to get together with Marion Barry [rimshot]

or maybe since they weren't her files to begin with, she's got no right to demand them at all.

For a short time, she controls whatever money is left in DeLay's budget. I would think she could pay for a restoration attempt of the files from that money.

Yo Shelley! You are a placeholder for a very short period of time. No more, no less, so sit down and shut up.

Now how much was it he paid to his wife and daughter to work in his election?? But then maybe that was just questionable ethics. Either way it was just wrong

You have no damn idea what you are talking about. You can hire anyone you want and his daughter Danni put in 60+ hours a week in the district working for him. She has a good political mind, especially for an aggie. His wife also did lots of work. We would see them at every political function held here.

If all they did was delete files, no problem.

Nothing ever leaves your computer

Unless you wipe the HD about 7 times, smash it with a hammer and melt it at 4000 degrees.

I know.

I deleted many files and then brought them back (with the help of a pro) to fight some diabolical vitriolic character assassination.

Film at 11

BTW, the files are in several safe locations, one of which is Funk and Waggonal's front porch in a hermetically sealed mayonnaize jar

Sounds to me like DeLay and his people are lowlifes.

Sekula-Gibbs said in a statement Thursday that seven employees in her Washington office and the district office in Stafford, Texas, outside Houston, "deleted records and files without my knowledge or permission" before quitting.

She did comment, however, that all seven employees had no visible skin blemishes.

Isn't it nice that she can use her actual qualifications?

I am a second Republican who won't put her head in the sand about the shenanigans surrounding MY party. You are so correct. How anyone can talk about DeLay being honest after that stunt of running in the primary and then moving so we now lost the seat in the general is beyond me.

Deleting files is suspicious and I would have turned it over as well. These are not DeLay files but files that belong to the Congress.

They could have been personal files like contacts and passwords.

DeLay and similar types of republicans (ie people who are arrogant and morally inept) are one of the main reasons why we are no longer in control of Congress.

I think the law says these files belong to the people who paid for them, delay's people destroyed files belonging to the American tax payer and they all should go to jail if the did that they are no better than the clitoons crowd and what they did to tax payers property.

Gee- I thought the items in the White House belonged to the American people, but the Clintoons didn't seem to think so.

With the files missing, or erased, do we know if they were DeLay's property or taxpayer property???

Tom's problems were a result of his arrogance and political effectiveness. The mere appearance of impropriety must always be factored into every step taken, or you leave too much to be politicized against you.

Just like the Dems have to prevent the mere appearance of impropriety, right? LOL

He was not convicted of any crimes, just the victim of Ronnie Earle,

Well you are correct about not being convicted but then DeLay hasn't been tried on anything yet that I'm aware of. Wait till all the investigations are over and all indictiments are cleared then you maybe able to truthfully make your statement.
