The current government in Spain is in fact socialist. A long time goal of socialism is the removal of the traditional family, with child rearing and education being transfered to the State. See Nazi Germany and the departed Soviet Union, Cuba and China. Read the works of the "progressives" on education such as Addams and Dewey.

Oh, and partitioning Iraq just means giving the bottom half to Iran, creating a top half that will be in a war with Turkey, and a center portion which will either be a terrorist haven, or eventually also owned by Iran.

That's not a plan, that's a disaster in the making.
