It's still on .... Warner's seeking info, very gentlemanly. Whimsey Graham .. has an "I smell something bad" look on his face. I expect more hubris and confrontation from Levin.

Has there been anyone more patriotic than jveritas. I doubt it. Can't think of another person on or off FR that comes close to the contributions this man has made to our national security. Exactly! Jveritas is a great American and I am very thankful for him and the work he has done!

He really paid for that idiocy. But, here he is back again. Back from disgrace and ignominy. Why? How? Because he knows how to get things done. I had a bad feeling about Cave-A-Lott coming back to power, so I never did take this little gem from my personal links - New contest - Name Lott's Accomplishments
Now, do I simply bump that back to the top or start anew?

Mitch McConnell is no Country Club Republican and I have been hearing that Lott is the best at Whipping. Which just happens to be what the Whip does. This is going to be a powerhouse Senate that will be a force to be reckoned with for the Dems and the Administration. McConnell is a good guy. As far as Lott goes though, I can't see it at this point, but I sure hope you're right.

I meant every single word. You have done more for our country than 9/10ths of the freepers on any given thread. And it's deeply appreciated.

Thank you very much again :) I just did my little duty but now I am deeply disappointed that the Iraqi documents website is shut down.

Very good answer...
I am listening to them trying to get Abizaid to admit that he and Murtha are "that close" in how they think of Iraq....written in Woodward's book.
THIS is what we are in store for, the next 2 years, non-stop.
Authors will be given more respect than our military leaders.
To: Just A Nobody
Evidently, even jveritas is not allowed to form his own opinion.
What a sad commentary.

I agree like my opinion is worth anything. Jveritas has been an exceptional contributor around here.

That was quite a choice wasn't it. I guess in that context Trent was the better man.

What else were we to expect from this sad group of losers? They have learned nothing from the arse whuppin they were just handed, and they shall reap the whirlwind of our wrath, but only if we start -- TODAY -- finding viable, conservative candidates with which to beat them like drums in the '08 primaries.
On the positive side; Lott is not Lamar Alexander. I can' imagine the train of logic that led these idiots to conclude Lott and Alexander would be acceptable as leaders of anything more complicated than a circle jerk.

You did a great job and it's disappointing that instead of just pulling the documents that perhaps told a little too much, the goverment chose to shut down the entire enterprise. What a waste.
Some day ALL of those documents will be translated, it just might not be in our lifetimes.

You sir, are entitled to your own opinion without being attacked.
Sadly, some on FR think others have no rights to their own conclusions.

If Lott was up for Majority leader again, I would be screaming as loudly as many others here. That would be a profound mistake. But as Whip. He is of use.
