It seems this thread is the only ray of sunshine here on FR these days.
It seems that everyone on FR has gone negative and really down on our President, the Republicans as well as those who support both.
I mean what has happened to everybody these days.
If it was this last election, so the Dems won this one, it's bad that's true. But it's only a "battle" that was lost NOT the "war". The hatred and disgust I feel everywhere is heavy, but we need to remember WHO is REALLY in CHARGE.
Dubya knows as well as lots who post here.
We all need to get back to remembering Him and start including Him in our daily lives.
I've been wondering what was missing in the equation here, it's GOD, I hear a lot of His name mentioned and prayers for various things and people here, and that's a good thing, but I wonder of God is remembered in the ordinary day. I wonder if what went wrong last Tuesday was Gods way of saying to us all the WAKE UP!
I don't mean to rant or preach on the W and F Wednesday thread but I have kept my thoughts on this ever since last Tuesday as I really had no-one I could talk to about any of this.
My Democrat co-workers of coarse were crowing about this, and so were unsympathetic to my disappointment.
Then there was the shocker about Rummy resigning, I bet there was rejoicing in liberal circles,
But the first thing I read ,and it was on the DOSE thread, a poster stated shye could no longer trust President Bush because he "stabbed" Rummy in the back.
This is ridiculous!
I need to get away from all this!
I'm turning Fox News and all the radio talk-shows off and I may stop coming to FreeRepublic too. If even the DOSE thread and other nonpolitical threads are going the way of the naysayers and Bush/Republican bashers.
