If a person has any convictions at all you do not "fake" it. I'm not sure of whom you are talking, but maybe these two reporters had less than deep "convictions". So faking it would have been much easier.

Considering this report is coming from a Palestinian terror group leader, I don't believe the $2 million figure at all. These people are liars. I am sure there was a ransom paid, but not even close to $2 million.

I look for a lot more of this sort of thing. Eventually it will happen in this country. Already it is widespread as close as Mexico.
We shouldn't be paying ransoms. If we have to pay anything, we should be paying people to fill contracts on the kidnappers.
