My brother and sister-in-law are Reagan Democrats, never changed their registration, but have been voting Republican since then. 4 yrs. ago they tried to convince us to vote for Rendell because Catherine Baker Knoll is a neighbor of her mother. This time it was to not only vote for Rendell, but vote for Casey because "he is just as pro-life, pro-NRA, and conservative as Santorum" whom they had previously supported. Some people wanted desperately to be fooled so they could return to the good old days of voting straight "D."
