Disturbing video of kids fighting on MySpace

St. Petersburg, Florida - The video is hard to watch and it's littered with profanity and racial slurs.

For nearly two minutes, adults, possibly even parents, cheer on two young boys to duke it out.

It was posted on the popular website, MySpace.com by a teen claiming to be from St. Petersburg.

Trenia Byrd Cox, President of the St. Petersburg chapter of the NAACP calls the clip shocking and disturbing. Titled "Jr. Ghetto Street Fights," the clip has gotten more than 8,000 hits. It's listed as a comedy, but Cox sees it as anything but laughable.

There's nothing wrong with teaching a kid how to defend himself - but trust me, that's not what was happening.

Is it just me, but did anyone else do this all the time as kids? I was expecting some horrible violence, and was disappointed to just two kids fighting it out. What's so wrong with this?
And I'm pretty sure all the people in the video were black... I thought it was OK for them to use that word?

Those people are animals. Those kids could still grow up to be decent human beings. How many times was the "N" word used in that video clip? Those are our future democrats. Those people care nothing for their kids. I'm sure they are like the ones around here who let their kids stand up in the back seat of the car bobbin' and weavin' at 80 on the interstate.

Yes, that it is misunderstood and has nothing to do with the real problem in this story.

It's just a way for kids to try to impress each other and feel cool. And It helps me find a bunch of old friends I thought were lost to the far reaches of time, basically. Oh, and it helps a lot of kids get their band noticed without the monopolistic record companies acting as gatekeeper.
