I'm told from reliable sources that many women often get pretty dressed-up underneath that abaya. I was also in a jewelry shop in Saudi Arabia and looked next to me at the woman checking out some expensive stuff. She reached her hand out and the sleeve went back to show a perfectly manicured hand with lots of expensive jewelry on it.
Women are rebelling against the dress codes in the only way they can -- to look as hot as possible underneath. In other places like Iran, the women are trying to push the envelope of what they can get away with and still technically be within the code. One fashion designer has gotten quite rich selling borderline clothing. The religious police have been quite busy lately.
They're actually very light. I don't understand using black though, as they'd be a lot cooler in white like the men usually wear.
Thanks!! I hope you don't mind me borrowing this!
Good point.
I just told you how to do it. You aren't taking it from me.
If you feel the need to ask permission, you should ask "mad puppy", who posted it in #9 above. You already have asked his permission, but so far, he does not seem to have replied to you.
"Hey, {how} can I add that to my tag line?"
Shoot yeah. I'd be flattered.
I'm sure all those Shia women are happy about that. And it's right up there with Christmas and the Easter bunny. Got it.
Element of mystery?! It's like imaging what horror lies beneath the Phantom of the Opera's mask. They do it because the males have the power of life and death over them, and it's no wonder that the wealthy Saudi males spend millions on Western women as soon as they leave home.

Oh! I thought you posted it. Sometimes FR confuses me. I just went from lurking for forever to actually signing up to post because I saw all the banter on here. I'll figure this out eventually. But thanks for the tip on how to add and change a tagline.

Thanks madpuppy!
I'm sure all those non-Jewish men are happy about their circumcisions.

I said it's a matter of concept, not degree. It explains why the practice shows up in some Muslim countries, but doesn't excuse it.
LoL, I can see it now....the Islamic dress police: stopping a lady, and demanding to know if she has on a red pushup bra, and what color are her undies...
I wouldn't go that far, but I do think all this misogyny reveals weakness, fear, and sexual immaturity in Arab men.
Yup. To me it suggests a hidden bomb belt, a low tech meatbomb factory, an ignorant allahbot, a hump backed mutant, a ululating America hater, a brainwashed dummy with unwashed hair... you get the idea.
