Al Jazeera isn't just entering the infowar, it has been engaged in the infowar since its first broadcast. I have watched CNN International, then clicked it to Al Jazeerah, then clicked it to Al Arabiyah, and I can easily believe that CNN is more anti-American than either one. But then, I don't speak Arabic.
The Qatari royal family owns al Jazeerah, but they also let us use Camp Doha, al Udeid and As Saliyah, so whose side are they really on? Theirs.

The Israeli government is intent on disproving the stedriotype that Jews are intelligent.
They are legitimizing Al Jazeerah.

Anybody know if there are any cable/satellite companies here in the US that are considering carrying this?

Asked if he thought Al Jazeera was fairer to Israel than, say, CNN and BBC, Seaman replied, "Absolutely, they're much better than CNN or BBC." The sad thing is, he's probably right.
