Well...the Republicans did challenge the Governor's election here in WA state in 2002.

It was only on the THIRD COUNT, PAID IN PART BY JON CARREY AND THE DNC that Christine Gregoire won...the Republicans sued, went to trial and of course lost to a judge bought and paid for by the dims.

The Republicans fought hard, they just didn't fight dirty and the dims fought not just dirty, but they got downright filthy!

In WA state? A bag of votes will be found by tomorrow afternoon. Anyone want to take odds???

ACORN is probably printing them up right now.

Should be Shadegg, not Shaddegg.

(I haven't left the GOP, the GOP left me.)

Interesting tag. There are still alot of conservatives in the party, and we choose to steer the ship instead of jumping from it. That it why I got involved in a club a few years back and, then in the elections. We love to hunt RINOs? Don't you?

I'll take a Republican over a Democrat any day of the week.

There's a difference between cheating Dino Rossi out of a 261 vote victory accrost the whole state, and cheating Dave Reichert out of a 5000 vote victory with an area covering only 1/9th of the state.

He's won.

I was checking out Mitchell's donors and was surprised to see a couple of people that I knew - my daughter's boyfriend's soon-to-be step-father (who is supposed to be a conservative--grrrr!) gave $1000. And worse still, a guy from my church, who was on the parish council, etc., gave $500! A supposedly devout Catholic gave $$ to a pro-abort! It makes me absolutely sick!

As far as I know Mohave County has all out ballots counted. Ours are normally done pretty fast. It looked to me like there is only one or two people counting ballots where JD's ballots currently are held. They sent out a call for volunteers throughout the state earlier last week.

If they don't find a way to prevent/resolve Vote fraud (and we know 99% of it is dem fraud), it's going to lead to Civil War some day.

I don't know what it's going to take.. but a third party cannot help the situation. I'm sympathetic to the Constitutional Party, but the same issue exists when we fall for that as back when we voted for Perot.

We're a two party country, and the people who were trying to teach a lesson last Tuesday may end up getting one of their own; especially the Libertarians.

I think that's way more votes then there are actually out there, so your extrapolation is too much, but yes, there could be a lot of votes out there. Washington votes mostly with absentee ballots, and they are only required to be postmarked by election day, not at the polling place by election day.

Didn't they find the bag of 262 votes in a closet in King County?
I am sure there is a bag of votes some where that will turn up.

Quite the Dilemma.

Big difference between cheating Dino out of a 261 vote victory over the whole state and cheating Reichert out of a 5000 vote victory over an area 1/9th that size.

He's safe, don't sweat it.

Now, given that his opponent was a total joke, he might be in trouble if the D's ever get a real opponent, but he's won this one.
