You have such a way with words that I can only stand in awe of your dead-on description of the PERPS. The PERPS who would drag us, our country, to hell with them IF we let them.
The Bible says a double minded man is unstable in all his ways and you cannot serve God and the World. No one can serve two masters because they will hate one and love the other.
What you have are double minded people who want it both ways. Those who drift left or even too far right will find themselves in conflict with God.

Some foloks are going to start belatedly realizing that a serious chill has entered their lives . . . coinciding with lots of failed . . . options and resources . . . and they will still be clueless. Blame, rationalizations, Self-justifications, vain faith in various non-existent sky-hooks as a solution etc. . . . will become common place.
Some may become startled and sober enough to turn to Christ. Many will go stubbornly on their self-destructive ways.
Perhaps you are aware . . . a beloved FREEPER who's very spiritually sensitive is convinced that God has notified him that God will begin to discipline, punish, make an object lesson of . . . folks and regions who/which have supported evils such as infanticide etc. from the moment the DIMRATS take formal power.
I think he's right.

If W wants to get even he will put up a string of judges the RATS will object to to show how far out of the mainstream the RATS really are. I don't think W is going to lay down to the RATS like a lot of people think, it's going to get even nastier than it was in the past in the next 2 years.

be supernaturally and resoundingly, thunderously removed from public life en mass.
If fitting and possible, for those with SOME serious desire to know God, please save their souls.
Otherwise, please limit their capacity to go on racking up eternal punishment on top of punishment against their own accounts.
Remove them from public life in vividly humiliating ways. May it be clear that YOU, OH LORD, HAVE DONE IT--and no agency of man.
Make it clear that those who seek death for infants shall reap what they have sown thunderously, overwhelmingly
AND
that the earth will be cleansed of all knowledge that they ever existed at all.
Cause them to be aware of their destiny and to humble themselves in prostrated humiliation in public ways and places as they realize that God Almighty has their number and is beginning to call in their chits which are found to be greatly and overwhelmingly in the negative.
Remove their smugness, their pride, their arrogance, their power mongering, their pontificating . . . let Your Word and Your Thunderous silence resound and reverberate where formerly, their noise held sway.

OK... let's say the old lib kicks the bucket, and then Bush employs your strategy. Does the SC go on hearing and ruling on cases with only 8 members? And what happens when the decisions are 4-4? My assumption would be that, since the SC is an appeals court, that whatever lower court ruling is being challenged would stand. Does anyone know if this is correct?
Might not be different at all. We don't know if he had the votes. Might actually not have gotten either Roberts or Alito. We don't know.
Anyhow, I suspect things will be OK. There's got to be another John Roberts out there somewhere, and the D's can't credibly fight people like him.

We need folks like Roberts. Some record, but not too big of a record. And they need to be super smart. Part of the reason Roberts won so easily is that he made all the D's on the Committee look stupid because he was so smart. Every time they asked him a question, he looked at them like they were retared, and calmly explained this very simple thing to them that they seemed to be having trouble grasping.
Alito is smart, but not in the same way. He knew what he was talking about, but he couldn't make them look stupid the same way Roberts can. We need more John Roberts' for the next vacancy.

It would help if the priests and bishops would speak out about the politics of abortion. Most are reluctant to do so, and when they do it usually goes something like this, "Yes... the democrats are wrong in supporting abortion... but the republicans are JUST AS BAD because they oppose raising the minimum wage."
Makes me want to yak when they utter garbage like that.
And that gives the little old ladies the moral cover to keep on voting rat just like they have been for their entire lives.
