Thanks for posting that. While I can appreciate a friend's loyalty, I cannot support Mel. My intention is to vote against him next time he's up for re-election. He can be a nice guy back in the private sector.

If I were still in FL I'd not support Mel in the Pubbie primary. I voted for him in the general election for Senator, but his opponent was a socialist democrat.

He may be a nice guy, but his record as a Senator is not too good. He may be anti abortion, but for me that is not the sole defining issue. Abortion is going to change at the state level, not the federal. But it is the feds that better do something about the illegals. And Martinez is not at all in favor of securing our borders.

As far as I am concerned, his only plus is that he is not a Democrat. Some job qualification, huh?
