I've never owned an Apple. Some of my friends have them. From what I understand they do anything a PC can (that the regular joe sixpack would need). Now with the Intel powered Mac books or what ever they're called...I guess they've just taken a leap forward in performance. That $1100.00 notebook they're sellin' now looks like a good deal.
I think of Microsoft as the McDonald's of OS's. They were the first...and had a head start to expand. They sell the prepackaged lowest common denominator to the widest audience.
I play around with LINUX sometimes because I like the fact that I'm not "tethered" to Bill or anyone for that matter.
If I buy something, I should own it.
