Granted, both were missteps. But that's the problem for our side. We can't have any missteps.
What happened to Rush and what happened to Allen is that they stumbled and the rats pounced.
FWIW, I don't believe Rush was mocking MJFox. And I don't believe Allen was uttering a racist slur.
But we were subjected to story after story from the Main Scream Media and the faux outrage of the left. They were simply relentless and we never recovered.
We have to realize two things:
1) Our candidates and our leaders aren't perfect, they're gonna make mistakes, and
2) Until we are willing to fight back as tirelessly and relentlessly as the RATS, they're going to keep winning.
The reality is that we have to be better, more focused and more relentless.
And this time we simply weren't.
The victory was to the Treason Media. Without its wholesale 24/7/365 support to the Party of Treason the GOP would hold 2/3s-3/4s of all offices. Without its constant campaign of distortions, misinformation, suppression of the truth and outright lies the Party of Treason would be on the ropes and in danger of extinction.
It is because of this power over the dimwitted that such things as Rush's comments becomes the story rather than such things as Libya running Saddam's nuclear research program. The fact that such an incredible story is TOTALLY suppressed shows the grave danger the Treason Media poses to the nation.
"IMHO, Rush is no more to blame for Missouri for his remarks about Michael J. Fox than Allen is to blame for "macaca." Hear me out.

Ditto. Couldn't have said it better myself.
In the case of George Allen, I agree that "Macaca" was a misstep.
In the case of Rush's comment's regarding Michael J. Fox: The dems set up a straw man, misrepresenting what Rush DID say, and beat up the straw man. The drive-by media spent hours analyzing each other's analysis of what each of them said that Rush had said. And spent seconds covering what Rush really said. And the video I watched on drive-by media programs was obviously looped and played at a faster speed than the original video.
If we blame Rush for this loss, we're in serious trouble if that 2 second comment was the tipping point. The simple fact was that Michael J. Fox was disingenuous and the media lied even more.
