I say inappropriate; I wouldn't mind reprimands for all involved, people have been demoted for less.
for real, innapropriate? Maybe but I think they were just being silly. Honestly, are guys and gals are over there fighting and being put in harms way left and right. I feel if they need a minute or two to have some fun, be silly, forget about real life than why not let em!
Senator Clinton, is that you?
I wish I could see the whole video. Looking at those frames that Drudge picked to display does make you wonder if the girl is a willing participant, but I'll take the word of those here that have seen the video that she is laughing and not protesting the treatment.
What would make the difference to me is if she was crying and telling them to stop. If she is laughing and going along with it, then I fail to see any problem and don't find it inappropriate at all.
In the Army, whether male or female, this play around happens frequently. If it was another guy, no one would care.
Of course, the left will make a big deal out of this and our troops will once again be slandered for doing what the troops do in high stress situations.
What they were doing is no more than many big brothers do to their sisters. Why it made it to the net I don't know, but we did this and worse to each other in Viet Nam, all in fun and no intent to harm anyone else.
Things far worse than this happen on ships all the time. Honestly, this is mild in comparison. I say it is all in the spirit of fun and comaradarie.
Get real. My Soldiers duct taped me to a table (after flex-cuffing me since I kept breaking the tape on my wrists). I'm an officer and they're enlisted, so that's technically "inappropriate." Guess I should've put them in for court martials, right?
I take it you didn't watch the video.
If she consented to it? Why?
If they were forcing her, fine, but if they are just having harmless fun, why should anybody be punished?
See my posts on this thread. I guess we should have been repremanded and demoted as well. /sarc
It's not like they put underwear on her head. Lighten up, they were horsing around.
