i think steele is presidential material. He needs to promoted to a much higher position than he is now, as a springboard to nomination

Steele was Chairman of the Maryland Republican party, served as Lt Governor in MD with a Republican governor (the highest position for a black elected to public office), and has run for Senate in a very blue state. He is conservative, pro-life, and has a great personal story of achievement.
