He blamed it on one of his video editors. I saw it when it was broadcast and I've never believed Rush's excuse. Rush has a mean streak.

Well, I agree with you that it's wrong, whichever side of the aisle the parent is on.

It does a disservice to our side as well when people attack their political opponents based on their looks. For exmaple, I don't dislike Helen Thomas because of what she looks like, and I wouldn't expect an 80-something year old woman to be a beauty queen, either.

I do find her politics repehensible, though, and I believe that if a person is going to attack her anti-American positions, then that's what they should do.

When you attack a person's child or their looks because you disagree with their politics, you dilute your argument and come across as if you're position is indefensible. I always cringe when I see posts like that.
