I know that there are a lot of real 'Rat wackdoodles on the Hill. But they're not the ones calling the shots. Those are unprincipled pragmatists who only want to stay in power, and a successful terrorist attack on American soil while they're in control of Congress will see to it that they're not put in positions of power for a very long time. They can kiss siiting in the WH goodbye.

Like I said, the loons can talk big, and the ones calling the shots can kiss up to the loons, but I don't think they'll try anything substantive.

Unless of course, due to blackmail and/or bribery, the 'Rat leadership in now a wholly owned subsidiary of AQ, Inc. In which case all bets are off. And that is why members of Congress should be required to undergo exhaustive and periodic backround checks before they're entrusted with intel.

The most interesting thing about all this is that the US planned to withdrawal from day one. We never planned on being a governing occupier of Iraq. The Dems voted for this war with the same knowledge that Bush and the rest of the world had. This is Dem spin to please their moonbat base.

My main concern is that our troops come home to a victory. If the Dems turn this into another Vietnam type abrupt withdrawal where massacres of thousands of Iraqis occur and AQ takes over in Iraq...they will not win in 2008.

But more importantly...an Islamofascist war will break out in the ME like we have never seen before with the terrorists emboldened.
