U.S. forces try building community in Baghdad (MSM; Democrats Win, Iraq Already Better)
MSNBC ^ | 11/11/2006 | AP

BAGHDAD, Iraq - U.S. soldiers, automatic rifles buckled to their body armor, filed into a community center in a dangerous Shiite neighborhood of north Baghdad Saturday and for a few hours became social workers, cops on the beat and referees between feuding tribesmen.

Tea was passed around, notes were taken, local sheiks spoke in wise tones, heads nodded vigorously in agreement and mundane problems such as garbage collection and distributing electricity generators were tackled.

Maj. Michael Fazio, 36, from Warwick, N.Y., pulled out a cheat sheet — photocopied snapshots labeled with long tribal names that he tried to match with faces in the room.

MSNBC will undoubtedly begin reporting on the happy people gathering up the arms and legs of their family members blown up by bombs today.

Chris Matthews can smile again.

Election over, and now for the good news coming out of Iraq. Stand by on every news channel in the MSM!

Like no one saw that coming! Of course, there is no bias in the MSM. Dan Rather (I would have rather not got caught forging documents) said so.

Boy are you right..

This would never have been on the MSNBC site before the election...but we know, here on FR, that these stories are all over the country.

Did you notice how it was mentioned a couple of times in the story..that the troops stressed how they have 'adapted' to the ways of that country, in order to facilitate these type meetings???

Oh..but, that can't be....President Bush's "stay the course" policy is a failure, doncha know?

I have to admit... I did not see that one coming. But now that it has been pointed out to me. I realize I should have seen it coming.

I can hear Pelosi and Murtha now. "See... it's all better over there with all this positive news. We can pull all the toops out."

THE MSM IS SICKENING.

Guys, I am serious. It is time for Conservatives to establish their own TV News Channel. FOX has miserably failed. They are moderates who, compared to the other left-radical media, just appear to be conservative.
There are plenty of Billionairies and Millionairies who can be considered conservative. About time to get them and companies together to create Conservative news. And if it just would show the unbiased facts, the leftist media would be defeated.
Imagine this coupled with conservative commentators and magazines... dream...

We cannot longer have the Communist media controll public opinion.

Try this:

"The MSM et al is the Chinese water torture designed specifically to dull the conservative common sense, like a virulent virus of mental illness creeping into every crevasse of society, drowning out reason, clouding reality, and replenishing the agar of socialist intent.

Fox News sold out their fair and balance policy once Murdock endorsed Hillary Clinton for president even before the '06 elections.

I heard Rush say that too but I figured they would wait till at least after the Democrats took office.

The decline of FNC coincides with old man Murdock marrying a young Chinese woman. His two sons are now estranged.

"THE MSM IS SICKENING"

No, the dimwits that believe the MSM balderdash around election time are the sickening ones.

For the first time ever I will yell 'Bush's Fault' if he allows Dems to take the credit. I'm irrationally hoping he could drop the bipartisan tone enough to do so but he won't. So then it will be the Repubs fault if they let them take credit.

Maybe they could take SolidWood's advice. Surely there is someone else besides Rupert Murdoch that could achieve such a goal.

The infighting between Conservatives would be great entertainment value. XD
