Correction: Religion (not counting Islam) promotes DISAPPROVAL of homosexuality, meanwhile promoting love and kindness towards most others. So basically, gays would be fine, but there would be nothing promoting kindness to everyone else.

We need term limits on celebrity terms. I mean, Elton (if that's his real name) wasn't zakly a one hit wonder, but he's so over, like, gag me with a spoon, mate! First two (U.S.) albums - pure genius, then a few Tin Pan Alley hits, then, goodbye, faggie.

I think that's already been tried, Elton. Numerous times down through history. Most recently by atheistic communist regimes in the last century. It doesn't seem to work. On the contrary, persecution seems to invigorate religion, rather than causing it harm.

Furthermore, how do you ban religion? The human heart is its own place. OK, you can tear down churches, threaten people with harm if they attend church, bombard them with anti-religious propaganda or any number of other measures, but that's not really banning religion, is it?

People will hold dear in their hearts what they want to believe.

Not one of Elton's more lucid moments. In my eyes he's pretty much completed the metamorphosis from delightful musician to ageing, perverted apostle of debauchery and godlessness.
