>Thought things were bad, before?
"Yet, just like before, it's the receiver of propaganda who chooses to have his ears tickled or not. Every human being who loves lies is to blame for receiving them. There are no innocents."

You've -- a great deal -- more wisdom than I'm used to seeing at this place.
In any event what's to argue.
I agree wholeheartedly with your thoughts, they're spot-on.

"That said, 'Things that cause men to sin must come into the world, but woe to them through whom they come'--Jesus"

Speaking of Wisdom.

...Amen to that. ;^)

Watch the video more closely. He's not putting his hands down, and he's trying to wrench his arm out of the cop's hand. They can't get the cuffs on him.

At one point, the perp's right arm is being restrained by both cops and the arm is still moving. If it takes two cops to restrain the movement of just one arm, maximum muscular force is being exerted by the perp to try to free that arm.

The cop on the right struck the perp's face to get his attention and encourage him to stop resisting arrest. Case closed.

I watched it several times, and to me it sincerely looked like no blow was struck. It seemed to me that the perp was flailing around and the officer was trying to keep his arm away from himself and the other officer.

Truly I don't see an instance of contact to the perp. Close, but not to him.

Thats what I saw too, but it looked more like the perps arm was in the officers each time a supposed blow was stuck, and the officers hand was to the side of the perps face, not to the face. I didn't see contact made with his face.

I should've said 'face area'. The video was pretty grainy.

I heard on L.A. radio yesterday that the clip was shot by the perp's sister (or wife -- I forget the detail), but also that it was released by the perp's attorney! This being the case, no wonder you see only what they wish you to see. Talk about poisoning the jury pool!!!

That's what I saw too. He was definitely resisting arrest so the policemen were fully justified in continuing to subdue him. Sometimes that just isn't pretty. I hope they are not made into sacrificial offerings to the mob in L.A. to head off another ''uprising'' but I'm not optimistic.

It was a 15 minute fight.
We get 19 seconds from the dirtbag's lawyer.
We don't pay cops to fight nice.
We pay them to win.
I want them to win and go home to their family, eat dinner, watch a little T.V. and get up to go back to work the next day.
Thay don't have to be fair or nice for Christ sake.

I couldn't care less if there was contact or not. I know if I was unfortunate enough to live in an area infested by gang members like that scum I would hope and pray that the cops would do everything they could to keep these people off the streets.

This scumbag should have stopped resisting arrest and let the cops do their job. Then he would not have been knocked to the ground or roughed up.
