Paraphrasing T. Jefferson: "If a nation expects to be borderless and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be."

I'm not sure what your purpose was in posting that quote from Mr. Jefferson.

But it affords me the opportunity to agree with him 100%.

Sort of like the old saying, Fences make good neighbors.

Mr. Jefferson's intent was to promote universal education (I changed the focus of the quote).
