"Another newbie trashing the President while claiming to be a conservative."
Why do you defend the man when he works against conservatives? Conservatives pre-existed the President and will still be fighting for our ideology long after he's a political memory. He DOES NOT define what we believe, what we support, or what the Republican Party's platform is supposed to be. He will be out of office in 2008. We need to start planning NOW where we go from here and to minimize the damage caused by the moderates. We also need to convince the Independents who voted Democrat last Tuesday that Republicans deserve to be back in office. Caving to Democrat demands will make that difficult, don't you think?
Do you really think conservatives would cheer on massive foreign aid packages, Sarbanes-Oxley, signing Campaign Finance Reform, support for a Republican-and-Republic-killing amnesty, trillions in new entitlements, massive federal education spending? Really?
The President is not alone in the blame for most of those listed above, but he certainly won't get kudos from the conservatives in the party for them.
Convince us with the potions of that list the President has done right, not with what he has not.

Are you willing to debate the issues listed on that list or just call names? This is supposed to be a forum for conservative commentary and discussion. Is it?
