As an evangelical Christian myself, I call hogwash on this.

I can't think of a single person I know (a Christian, a PRACTISING Christian) who would vote for someone whose values are SO off base from what we believe...

No real sources listed here, just a few anecdotal examples. Hardly believable.

Christians won't vote for Romney, Christians won't vote for Rudy, won't vote for Gingrich....

The majority of Christians didn't "vote" for the Demos...

They just sat out this election our and didn't vote!

Which means - they DID vote for the DemocRats - by acquiescence!

Not to respond IS to agree (acquiescence)!

I know three in my church. Two in my family. I don't understand them.

You hit the nail on the head my friend. Practicing christians will not vote for the rats knowing the evil that permiates the party. I sure didn't, just as you didn't, for any rat candidates.

However, there are those who are "christian in name only" (CINO) who will vote for the rats.

Amen to this BG. I am also a evangelical Christian and I don't know of a single person that would go from the Republican to Democract party... Maybe Constitutionalist, but never to vote for a party that is pro abort, pro gays, etc..This article has no FACTS behind it at all. There are evangelicals that are upset with the Republican party for compromising, but not to retaliate and vote Democrat..

"I call hogwash on this."

Ditto, ditto and ditto. I obviously don't know every conservative Christian but I don't know a single one that voted dim. I do know quite a few, including myself, that for the first time in many, many years, didn't work for the party but we all mashed the button for the repukes.

I would too, but...

My parents moved from the Oklahoma/Texas region to Missouri.
They are long-time members of a pretty-derned fundamentalist/conservative
church.
In Oklahoma/Texas, that would mean most member of this church were
"R" and sometimes even suspicious that their "R" politicians weren't
quite "conservative" enough on some issues.

But a move about 300 miles north to the Kansas-Missouri region
has been eye-opening. Even though the folks in their new congregation
live and act conservatively, they've found the politics of their
co-congregants lean a lot more left. It's been quite a shock to
my mom and dad.

It is hogwash! The independents, 30% of the electorate, voted demoNcratic in greater numbers causing the Republican losses.
