One man's "political blunder" is another man's "standing up for his principles." Some people don't believe in moral relativism. Right. And simple minded single issue zealots are often blinded as to the real moral context of these issues.
They should just get out of politics because they're not going to make with anybody anyhow.

Michael Schiavo should die of something long and painful. I'll pray for you.

You need to pray for yourself. You're more in need of it

You need to pray for yourself. You're more in need of it Really? I'm not the one posting that I hope others will die long and painful deaths. YOU ARE.
May God have mercy on your soul. And relieve you of your obvious suffering.

You are projecting your own problems onto me. You need your prayers more than I do, so do pray.

>> IIRC, Bundy at least feigned remorse at the end.
Michael needs the same opportunity.

Look at the eyes! I see a stronger resemblance to the Lord of the Flies.
They both look a lot like Stalin, though :-)

>> Polls showed most Americans found this sort of political interference in such a personal matter to be reprehensible.
Right. Everybody hates it when the cavalry gets there on time. Why, polls showed that the South was practically unanimous in its disgust when Abraham Lincoln, that buttinski Republican president, freed the slaves and cost the slaveholders their personal property.
