There is already national service of this nature introduced by President Clinton. I agreed with it at the time and still support it. Our young people should give something back to their country.

The entire notion of "giving something back to the country" is a bunch of socialist BS. The government serves the people, not the other way around.

I agree. People should want to serve. (Before I get the hateful replies, I said should, not mandatory)....some people are so sensitive...:)

Most of these people would never make it in Israel. And before you say "that is why I don't live in Israel", know that things change and one never knows when we might be fighting for our very survival, if we aren't already.
