When did the bank scandal happen? He was one of the Keating Five which people seem to forget!
I think those are all great.
Now I am going to start doing the research! :)

That is my point. They were best friends in the US Senate. Phil is supporting his friend.

I'd vote for McDreamy before I'd vote for McCain.

I'd vote for Ronald McDonald before I'd vote for McCain.

Yeh, ol' Phil sure pulled the wool over Texas voters eyes. Say what they want to hear and let your wife make you rich. If I hear about Dicky Flats one more time, I'm going to puke.

Same here, there is NO circumstance that would allow me to vote for McCain.
After he and Graham undermined the Judicial appointments, among many other things.
To: tennmountainman
Lindsey Graham...that is not Phil Gramm.
To: GraniteStateConservative
McCain is emerging as a top GOP presidential contender.Really? And who made that determination?
If McCain is picked for the top spot, we might as well go for broke and team him up with Lindsey Gramm?
To: onyx
Phil and Wendy Gramm are warm, kind, and sensational people. I know from first-hand experience. They are not elitist snobs like so many politicians in both primaries (but mostly wealthy RATS).

Gramm is the main boy who cut final rules on the Clinton impeachment for the Republicans, and hung some courageous house members out to dry in the process.

From one Granite State Conservative to another. McCain is a war hero, but his stay at the Hanoi Hilton, physically and mentally crippled him. But that did not make him a RINO. He snuggles up to Ted the swimmer and others of his ilk. Check with the folks in AZ about Johnny

But they are friends because they both hate all the spending going on in DC.

Got that right! Hung those House members out to dry between him and Lott. For some odd reason, Lott and Gramm didn't want Sen Nickles or Sen Inhofe involved. Wonder why not? As if I didn't know.
