maybe you can help my memory, what was the name of that guy who had the seat up in the NE for about 8 or 10 years. He was a blue dog Dem, he was short and had thick black hair. Maybe mid 40s or so. Had one of those one syllable first names. And even though I had friends in Tulsa and made phone calls back in the early 90s to try to get rid of him, he was just too much of a good ol' boy for us to morph him into Bill Clinton in 1994. (I also made calls for Mickey Edwards in a previous life prior to Ernest Istook taking over his seat back in the origin 'culture of corrruption' which ended Mickey's career).
