I don't know if this is real or not, but a lot of buzz has been happening in the marine message boards about it.

My high school A/V supervisor once gave me one off an old overhead projector. It doesn't just burn ants, it makes them explode in flames! A fresnel lens can cut through an anthill like a "laser"...
