I get the impression that Newt may attempt a comeback.

I wish they had provided the option of "None of the Above".

Cool? Do you want to lose the executive branch too?

From the results so far Newt is the front runner. He is bay far the most visionary and most eloquent ambassador of conservative principles. However he has way too much baggage especially in his personal life to survive a general election. Romney would be a fantastic candidate but since he is from MA, that will lose him a lot of votes nationwide, the association with this bluest blue states is too negative. I live in MA and think Romney would make an excellent president. Guliani will be the strongest in a general election but will have a tough time in the primaries as he is a social liberal which will not play well in the South. No clear front runner at the moment but these are the top 3. McCain would win a general election but he is dead in the primaries.

No. That's why I support the only guy out there who is actually a conservative. RINO-ism doesn't work, and it doesn't win.

A Hillary sweep is what we'll get if we don't nominate a conservative.

People can say what they want about Newt, but I still love to see him on FOX and CNN etc. debating issues with the libs. He out debates everyone.
Nobody even comes close.
Now, that being said, Newt lacks the charm and charisma to win. Same with Hillary Clinton...totally charmless

Newt has too much baggage for whom? Not me! And apparently a lot of other people feel the same......
GO NEWT! =)

Yes but all of that is so OLD.
I mean, YEARS OLD.
The people have heard it all already...blah blah blah, he served his dying wife with divorce papers in the hospital...blah blah blah.
Unless, there is some new things I haven't heard??

A Hillary sweep is what we'll get if we don't nominate a conservative.Newt's a good man with good ideas but a lousy national politician. Bill Clinton neutered him (no pun intended) with ease. We need a candidate who can shove it right down their throats. Newt ain't the one.
