Oh, pleeeaaassseee. This is ridiculous. It's beyond absurd. Sure, Dubya is the first politico to say one thing and do another.

One month before the election there was nothing the GOP could have done to prevent what happened in this election.

Even if Dubya had resigned, it wouldn't have made a dime's worth of difference.

I like that idea, but let's roll her out with my candidate in '08

Republicans would have kept control of the Senate and saved at least 5 GOP seats.

Easy to say two days later but there is no proof whatsoever that this would be the case.

Yep, it's all Bush's fault.

I hope you can detect the sarcasm in my post.

And he makes up false names for his wished-for illegal-alien amnesty.

Journalists by nature shy from pinning the "liar" label on any political leader, but.......

Maybe, but lets not nit pick. Fabricator, fibber, prevaricator, storyteller, defamer, libeler (or libeller), slanderer; perjurer; distorter, falsifier; equivocator, palterer; gossip, gossiper, talebearer; charlatan, cheat, cheater, confidence man, counterfeiter, cozener, deceiver, defrauder, dissembler, dissimulator, double-dealer, fraud, hustler, mountebank, and pretender are all quite common for the liberal press if their target is a Republican.

B.S. Cutting Rumsfeld would have been played as a sign of weakness and doubt by the media. It would not have helped at all.

But cutting Rumsfield immediately after the election is a sign of strength?

There is no question the GOP would control the Senate if he had made the decision before the election. Can we pin this one on Karl Rove?

I don't think removing Rumsfeld had anything to do with the result of this election. One man, and a patriot and a man who has devoted a lot of his life to us selfish people is not the major reason we lost. We are.

Not many options when you can't tell the press "None of your G-D business."

The Slow Death Spiral of the NY Times and the rest of them.

The biased media won this election for the dems. Now that the constant media hate fest has quieted down , people are going to wake up and wonder what the hell they'd just done. They're not going to be very happy with the liberal propaganda machines.

Was that on par with President Bill Clinton's hair-splitting defense in the Monica S. Lewinsky investigation that "it all depends on what the definition of is is"? Hardly.

Clinton LIED under oath.

There is no question because you say so? Back up your assertion and please don't cite such reliable sources as "It is common knowledge that...." or "Everyone knows that....". What evidence do you have to back up your post?
